Professor Patsy Fagan wrote a recent blog post (Math is Everywhere) which asked the question, "What is Your Teaching Brand?" Excellent question, right?
We all have a brand. The way we dress, what we have our students call us, how we decorate our office all identify our brand and how our students and colleagues perceive us...whether we are consciously aware of this or not. I think of myself as extremely organized...however, I just realized that right now my desk is a mess. If a student who does not know you asks what your classes are like, what would your current students say?
